Maureen McAllister is a CPA and degreed engineer with 35+ years of operations' experience. Her consulting practice focuses on compliance and the alignment/integration of compliance activities with other business priorities.

Specific topical areas include: assistance with compliance to ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, 16949, 17025, et al., Sarbanes-Oxley support, "lean" manufacturing, and supply chain management, among others.

Her clients are hardware, software, and IP-based businesses in automotive, medical, aerospace, electronics, advertising, and logistics/distribution.

Prior to launching McAllister Consulting in 1991, she lived and worked in Southeast Asia and still has an active practice with Japanese, Chinese, and European clients. She is a published author and guest lecturer.

Her graduate degrees are from the University of Chicago (MBA) and the University of Iowa (MSIE) and (MA – Political Science). She is also a registered Certified Public Accountant in Illinois (License No. 239.000854).

Maureen was recently awarded the honor of Kane County (IL) woman of distinction, 2013 and has previously served on the St Charles Public Library Board as a Trustee.



John Straebel

John Straebel is an experienced manufacturing professional and a principal with McAllister Consulting, L.L.C.

He has assisted diverse client organizations in achieving a variety of quality, environmental and performance objectives from a consulting capacity since 1994.

Prior to joining McAllister, he was V.P of Manufacturing for a company that transitioned over several years from a poor performer to the top performing company on the NYSE. He also led numerous performance improvement initiatives throughout the world as a member of the corporate manufacturing staff of a Fortune 500 company.

He started in the automotive industry in the 1960's and continues consulting work with automotive suppliers to American and Japanese vehicle OEMs.

John holds Bachelor of Economics and Master of Labor & Industrial Relations degrees from Michigan State University, was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and is a Vietnam-era veteran.
